Rumors of the untimely demise of the SEO 101 podcast have been greatly exaggerated.

Seriously, the reason we haven’t been posting the recaps lately is because we’re trying to fix PodPress, which apparently borked during the last WordPress upgrade. The fixes that have been released haven’t resolved the issue, so the new podcast links we put up aren’t working right.

That being said, with Brian and Carolyn me (why the heck am I talking in third person… I’m not Sammy Sosa) in San Jose next week at SES, and NeO moving across the country, it is probably safe to say the issue won’t be resolved in August. We’re shooting for early September.

To hear recent shows and get very brief recaps, please visit WMR’s SEO 101 page and download from there. There is no cost to download or listen to any of the shows and you should be able to retrieve the whole 30 minutes of each episode.

We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience, but I assure you, we’re still here and we’re still on the air.

This week, we have 3 great topics we’ll be covering.

Monday, we’ll be talking about cloaking – what it is and if you should use it.

Wednesday, we’re covering some easy ways to start doing some keyword research.

Friday, we’ll be talking about choosing a domain name for your new site.

More topics will be covered in the following weeks. Of course, if you’ve got an SEO question, just ask by using the link at the top of the page. We hope to cover everything you want to know in a logical order, so it may not be the next question asked getting answered first, but asking early will let us plan when to answer your question.
